I have been looking for a good list of books to help guide children through the trauma of family separation and divorce issues. The other day I found one that is particularly helpful because the list is organized by age groups. In addition, there is a list of books to help parents negotiate difficult problems arising during the divorce process.
The publication listing books by topic, age groups and reading levels is: HELPFUL READINGS TOWARD THE UNDERSTANDING OF FAMILY CHANGES, ROBERT A. ZIBBELL, PH.D. This publication in an annotated bibliography and resource list for divorce or separated parents and their children. This collection was part of a project of public information initiated by the Hampshire County Probate and Family Court in Northampton, MA
