The recent case of Erwin v Clancy, Docket No 317823, (Mich) August 5, 2014 illustrates the dangers of a parent's effort to destroy the children's relationship with the other parent. A quick read of the opinion shows that the father went from supervised parenting time to sole legal and primary physical custody--with a relocation to Arkansas. The mother was allowed parenting time one weekend per month to be exercised in Arkansas.
Parents who are determined to destroy or contaminate the parent-child relationship between the children and the other parent should read this decision and be forewarned of the danger of such conduct.
